Battle of the Will

We are called to submit to one another and to those in authority over us out of love and reverence for Jesus Christ. Simple...said!

Basically, submitting to one another, to older people, to authority whether it be Civil, Social or Church authority is a choice. We can choose to obey or disobey. Of course with no hesitation, the later would be best for all right? However, submitting to authority is waaaay easier compared to those who are IN authority for they are accountable to higher positions. For example, as leaders of a church group, they are accountable to God for their members whom God put under their care.

Submission is vital yet a pain in the neck for many. Especially among teenagers going through this age of 'i know it all, the world knows nuts, i know more nuts' kinda thing. But always remember, it is out of reverence to God that we submit ourselves to people in authority for we do it NOT unto men but unto God Himself who so freely came to earth NOT to be served but to serve and submit to authority which is Father God.

So, learn to submit to people who are in authority and imagine you in their shoes. How would you feel? How would you react to certain situations if YOU were in their pants. Make room for positive adjustments and we'll be a generation that is worth the living!

On another note, Mission conference ended a few weeks ago but there is still space for this post

During the conference, there were boards up and surrounding the concourse. The boards were filled with pictures of various missionaries from our church and members of XYZ!

I guess the project you guys did last year paid off huh? snapped a pic of BUCG and all their wonderful faces that were vibrantly glowing on the boards with tag lines attached to each pic. Proud of you guys! Kudos! ;)

Take good care ya'll and GB yo!
